I am very fortunate to have photographed more than 150 weddings since January 2004.

I document the heartbeat of weddings from an angle of a photojournalist.  I am always on a quest for that human element.  The one that defines our humanity - the unadulterated surge of joy.

My definition of a candid photo is one that captures the bliss on a bride's face as she indulges on what a beauty salon has to offer.  The satisfaction that she feels as she examines her nicely painted toes.  The racing anticipation etched on her face as her veil is fastened on her hair.

At the right timing, it is also one that depicts her excitement as she walks down the isle with her father.

I also love to capture the tears rolling down both mothers' cheeks.  And the mischievous smiles of her sibling who gets to inherit her room when she's flown the coop.

Weddings are filled with that human factor.  You might laugh, cry or you might laugh and cry.  It is truly the day that you will never forget.

However your day will turn out, be rest assured that I will be there to capture it.

Now, let me tell you about myself.  I seldom impose and quiet most of the time.  I like to listen and I listen well.  I smile a lot.

I like to read gossip magazines, money magazine and trashy romance novels.  I can devour PF Chang's Kung Pao chicken 7 days in a row.  I buy 50 books a year and read only one (particularly the one with lots of pictures and big letters!).

I play a mean chess strategy.  I was a sports beat photographer in high school and loved covering the women's volleyball and softball.

I like to check in early at airports just so that I can watch people go about their businesses. I love the History Channel, Discovery Channel and HBO.

And I love to party!
