Since day one, I have always looked forward to capturing the bliss on a bride's face as she basks in the services of an indulgent beauty salon; the nervous giggles she shares with her bridesmaids as she excitedly gabs about the details her day.

I love to document the blush on her cheeks and the sheer joy on her face as she walks down the isle with her father in tow . Most of all I love to capture her expression when she utters, "I do".

I always look forward to capturing the event unfolding around them - her dad's expression; the tears trickling down her mom's smiling face; the smirk etched on her siblings' faces as they wrestle about the thought of who gets to move in her room when she leaves home.

I love to capture the moments that they might otherwise miss.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  What's the photographer's philosophy about shooting weddings? (This question will give you an idea of the shutterbug's expertise and passion for his work.)

A.  Wedding photography is an art. It's either you have the knack for it or not. It could not be learned solely by experience nor affiliation with professional photographer associations. The learning process entails 95% talent, passion and aspiration and 5% perspiration.

Q.  Does the photographer shoot in color, black and white, or both?

A.  I shoot in color but I will convert a selection in Black and White upon request .

Q.  How independent is the photographer? Does he or she prefer that you describe exactly what you want, or would he or she rather have free rein to capture the festivities on film (digital)? (This point determines how you two will work together.)

A.  It's your special day and I would love to hear how you want it captured. But if given free rein, I normally prefer to be in the background and be a 'spectator' to a wedding as it unfolds. And capture 'kodak moments' as they present themselves to me.

Q.  Will the photographer you talk will be the one who actually takes your wedding pictures? (This is crucial! Each photographer's style is unique.)

Q.  Is the photographer open to a list of must-take photos (pictures you definitely want shot)?

A.  Yes I am. I also have compiled a comprehensive list of formal and informal shots that Brides and Grooms could choose from. You are welcome to add some more if you wish.

Q.  How does the photographer determine price? By the number and kind of prints you think you'll want, the hours the photographer spends on your wedding, the developing time, or a combination of the above factors? How many rolls of film will be shot, and how many proofs and final prints will result? Are packages available? Can you get a price list?

A. No. I work with a photo lab company called Miller's Professional Imaging
