Among the myriads of metro detroit wedding photographers, Michel and Vanessa chose me to candidly capture their special day.
My day started capturing my surroundings at the Victoria Wedding Chapel in Waterford, Michigan. I have been here twice before. The owner even recognized me when I talked to her about Michel and Vanessa. She hasn’t met them either. Like me she only talked to her on the phone when she put down her deposit.
I first heard from Vanessa at the beginning of the year. It was January 4, 2015 to be exact. She was looking for a photographer who was well-versed in candid photography. Price was also one of her sticking points. After a couple of emails, we conversed on the phone. She asked me if I was available on September 19, 2015.
I heard back from her again later that day. She emailed me the information that I needed for the contract. Before the day was over, she granted me the honor to be her wedding photographer.
They met online. They fell in love despite a vast distance in between them. Today, I was very fortunate to witness and document their wedding day. Words are not really my thing so I will just show you how madly in love they are.
